BIGBANG was the only Korean artist to appear on China’s most popular TV program for the spring New Year festival 2015 on Dragon TV.
According to YG Entertainment, BIGBANG was in Shanghai’s Mercedes Benz Arena to film the program on Jan 30 at 7:30pm. The show is to be aired on Feb 19. The five dominated the stage with their unique charisma and dynamism.
BIGBANG showcased several hit songs, including “Fantastic Baby,” “Tonight,” “Bad Boy” and “Lies.” The members wished the local fans a year full of fortunes, while SEUNGRI responded to MC’s questions in Chinese, making the fans ecstatic.
A number of Chinese media like Tencent eagerly reported the news on the Korean boy band appearing on the show for the spring New Year festival. BIGBANG indeed created hype in the country.
After finishing the “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2014~2015 X” in huge success, they are now fully focused on the new album that is nearing completion.
