YG’s first hip-hop unit GD X TAEYANG’s “GOOD BOY” was chosen as FUSE TV’s “41 Songs of the Year 2014.” The list of 41 songs was unveiled on Dec 8 (local date).
GD X TAEYANG’s “GOOD BOY” was among songs of world famous pop stars like Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” Beyoncé’s “Flawless,” Cold Play’s “Magic,” Maroon 5’s “Maps” and Nikki Minaj’s “Anaconda.”
FUSE TV commented that “GOOD BOY” is the best club song for 2014 that breaks down the boundary between melody and rapping that can only be achieved through years of musical experience. It added that even if you show it to someone who’s not a K-Pop fan, they will be thankful later.
“GOOD BOY” is a perfect harmony between GD’s unique rap and TAEYANG’s groovy singing. The famous choreographer Paris Goebel designed the moves, making it stand out even more. Directed by the well-renowned Colin Tilley, the music video hit a whopping 15 million views on Dec 10.
