G-DRAGON and TAEYANG of boy group BIGBANG have become the only Asian singer who put their name on “Greatest Bromance in the Music Scene” list, which was created by American music cable FUSE TV.
On the 4 this month (local time), FUSE TV covered stories of teams of great friendship in the current music scene, in its special feature to celebrate the Valentine’s Day. The members of total 17 teams selected by FUSE TV love each other like their own brother and give a good influence to one another even though they are competitors.
G-DRAGON and TAEYANG put their names in the list, along with world-class musicians including Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z, Justin Bieber & Jayden Smith, Eminem & Dr.Dre, Jay-Z & Kanye West, and Paul McCartney & John Lennon.
FUSE TV mentioned the friendship between G-DRAGON and TAEYANG by saying, “The bond between G-DRAGON and TAEYANG is ‘one of a kind’. The two have maintained their friendship for 13 years and they are close friends until now when they hold world tour concerts together.” FUSE TV also talked about the musical synergy between G-DRAGON and TAEYANG, mentioning G-DRAGON’s producing and support for TAEYANG’s latest single “LINGA RINGA”.
TAEYANG and G-DRAGON joined YG Entertainment at a young age of 13, to become the beginning of BIGBANG. Since then, they have been the closest friends. They have always been together, being inspired by each other. As such, the two have been the best friends and competitors at the same time, for the past 13 years. It is worthwhile to pay attention to what synergy they will create and what they will show in the future.
