[NEWS] GD&JONG HYUNG DON TOP GAON CHART WITH ‘GOING TO TRY’


‘Going to Try’, a song created by YG’s musician G-DRAGON and comedian Jong Hyung Don for MBC’s Infinite Challenge Music Festival ranked #1 on monthly chart of Gaon Digital Chart of November.

According to the announcement made by Gaon Chart on Dec 12, the two unleashed remarkable teamwork through Infinite Challenge and they can even aim to receive ‘Best Couple Award’ at MBC’s Annual Award Ceremony at the end of the year. ‘Going to Try’, released on Nov 2, has garnered much popularity since its release by topping music charts immediately.

#2 went to Seung Si Kyung, who sang the theme song of tvN’s drama ‘Reply 1994’ titled ‘To You’. This song was a remake one of Seotaeji and Boys for the first time, and although it has been more than 20 years since the release of the original song, it is still beloved by the public until now.

#3 was ‘I Got C’ by Geumary, a duo of Park Myung Soo and Primary, which is another hit song of the Infinite Challenge Music Festival. This achievement was despite the fact that the song was banned from being provided on Dec 13 for a possible plagiarism it was involved.

#4 was miss A’s ‘Hush’, and #5 was Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol’s ‘Please Don’t Go My Girl’ from Infinite Challenge, #6 was Davichi’s ‘Letter’, #7 was Roh Hong Chul and Rose Inn’s ‘Call Me Oppa’ for Infinite Challenge, #8 was Trouble Maker’s ‘There’s No Tomorrow’, #9 Ailee’s Tears Stole the Heart, and finally #10 was San E’s ‘Where Did You Sleep.’
