[NEWS] BIGBANG’s “Japan 6 Dome Tour” Draws 300,000 Fans in Osaka Alone… Successful Concert


The second concert of idol boy group BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI)’s six dome tour in Japan is going on in acclamation of a large group of audience, in the second city for the tour, Osaka.

BIGBANG kicked off the six dome tour on November 16 and 17 at Saitama Seibu Dome, and went on to Osaka Kyocera Dome on November 29 and 30. BIGBANG is holding concert once again in the evening on December 1.


According to BIGBANG’s agency YG ENTERTAINMENT on the 1, BIGBANG already drew 100,000 persons to their concert for two days at Osaka Kyocera Dome, and will have met total 150,000 persons when including one more concert at the dome. Since BIGBANG will wrap up their tour at Kyocera Dome by holding three concerts from January 11 to 13, 2014, once a day, they are expected to meet total 300,000 fans at Kyocera Dome alone.


YG said, “BIGBANG colored Osaka Kyocera Dome concert gold”. “BIGBANG fascinated Japanese fans in the concert, with unique stage settings and effort to keep in tune with the audience.

At the Osaka concert, BIGBANG sang about 30 songs including BIGBANG’s hit sons and each member’s solo hits, for more than three hours.

According to YG, “As the scale of the concert is so big, a flying stage, with which the entire stage moves, and a moving car were used to go closer to each one of the audience and to make eye-contact with them. It highly elated the atmosphere at the concert hall.” “At every corner of the street near the dome, young men and women dressed up with BIGBANG’s concert goods were spotted, which shows BIGBANG’s popularity in the country”, added YG.


Takuma Hitomi (22, female) who watched BIGBANG’s Osaka Kyocera Dome concert expressed her affection for BIGBANG, saying “Everything of BIGBANG, including their songs, dance, and fashion, is cool and each of the five members has unique individuality. I got many friends (thanks to BIGBANG), and BIGBANG is my all.”

BIGBANG continues to hold concerts at Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome on December 7 and 8, at Nagoya Dome on December 14 and 15, at Tokyo Dome for three days from December 19 to 21, at Sapporo Dome on January 4, 2014, and at Osaka Kyocera Dome on January 11 to 13, 2014.

BIGBANG is the first foreign artist who holds six dome tour in Japan, and even including Japanese singers, the second artist to hold such a concert in the country, following Mr.Children.

On January 25 and 26 next year, BIGBANG will hold concert at Olympic Park’s Gymnastics Hall located in Seoul, which is one of the biggest indoor performance halls in Korea.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s Japan six dome tour including the recent Osaka Kyocera Dome concert is drawing more attention, as YG’s new boy group WINNER gives the opening performance.
