[NEWS] G-Dragon to Wrap Up Solo Album Promotions
After plenty of performances and wins, G-Dragon will be closing with a bow on his second album promotions.
November 3’s broadcast of SBS’ Inkigayo and November 7’s triple crown performance at Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN will be G-Dragon’s final stages for Coup d’Etat. With his second album, which was released after four years, G-Dragon successfully carried on promotions for two months receiving much spotlight and interest.
Upon releasing his second album, G-Dragon did what is now called the ‘line up’ on majority of the Korean music charts, where his entire album ranked one after the other in the Top 10 charts. He also completed the album releases with a special LP record of his second album on October 18.
As for Gaon Chart and Hanteo Chart, his album was listed number one for the month of September, all the while receiving much praise from media platforms overseas.
Putting a period to his album promotions, G-Dragon won’t be completely gone from the spotlight, as he is still awaiting the release of a new track created for MBC’s Infinity Challenge with comedian Jung Hyung Don as ‘Hyung Yong Don Jong.’ The song that they created together will be released on November 2 at 8PM (KST) following the broadcast of the well-known song festival.
G-Dragon previously participated in the Infinity Challenge Song Festival in June of 2011 with Park Myung Soo, creating the song I Cheated, which easily ranked number one on music charts. Judging from the results from two years ago, it’s expected G-Dragon will have the same results in 2013.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will be joining his BIGBANG members for the six-dome tour in Japan in November.
