[NEWS] Big Bang set record for Korean act with London concert
K-pop group Big Bang drew 24,000 fans to its concerts in London on Friday, Dec 14, and Saturday, Dec 15, setting a new record for the largest crowd gathered to see a Korean act.
Korea Joongang Daily reported that only the Friday show was originally planned, before overwhelming demand forced YG Entertainment to pencil in the second concert on Saturday.
And it wasn't just fans from the UK who turned up. The agency said that fans from France, Germany, Italy and Spain turned up to watch Big Bang.
British newspaper The Guardian reviewed the concert, which was held at Wembley Arena, giving it four out of five stars and saying it was a "fabulous spectacle".
