[NEWS] G-Dragon Sells Close to 50K Copies of ‘One of a Kind’ in Two Days
G-Dragon’s latest solo album is selling like hot cakes.
Since One of a Kind was released online on September 18, the album has been the top-selling album in Korea for two days in a row with 20,856 copies selling the first day and 25,483 copies the next according to Hanteo (As Hanteo takes into account the online sales of albums, it usually tallies sales from the day prior to an album’s release).
The high sales of the album comes despite One of a Kind coming with a ’19 and over’ rating and many music industry insiders are predicting the album will easily surpass the 100K sales mark in a relatively short amount of time.
YG Entertainment added that pre-orders for the solo album had already topped 200,000 copies and it continued to anticipated strong sales.
The album also reached 79th place in America’s iTunes chart, showing interest in the album wasn’t limited to Korea. Source : enewsworld
