G-Dragon and Park Myung Sooproved their unit has still got it by topping a netizen poll for ‘the most popular variety song of the year’.
According to the poll conducted by music website Monkey 3 (www.monkey3.co.kr) from December 1-7, Park Myung Soo and G-Dragon’s I Cheated came in first place with 73 out of 272 votes (27%). Small polling sample, but still surprising that the song hasn’t been pushed down from its throne by other, more recent variety arrivals.
I Cheated is a song sung by the Park Myung Soo and G-Dragon unit for MBC’s Infinity Challenge: Highway Music Festival. The song enjoyed much popularity at the time of its release, topping online music charts for a long while.
In second was Busker Busker’s Tokyo Girl (21%), from Mnet’s Superstar K3. Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Juk’s Apgujeong Nallari (Hoodlum), another hit from Infinity Challenge, was at third (18%), followed by Superstar K3 Ulala Session’s Western Sky (17%), Park Jung Hyun’s If Things Went That Way from Now (10%) and Kim Bum Soo’s Please (8%) from MBC’s I Am a Singer.
