Gmarket announced an agreement with the exclusive model consisting of the five members of BIGBANG, G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri. BIGBANG will begin with the full activities for a new model of Gmarket in January.
BIGBANG will appear on TV CF, Gmarket website, online advertising, outdoor advertising and off-line media as the main model of Gmarket in 2012. The five members's personality are highly skilled so they are chosen as the main model of Gmarket in 2012 for the target of young customer 20 to 30.
Kim So Jeong Gmarket's vice president said "the members of BIGBANG are distinct personality and unique sense of fashion by trendy youth. They become a symbol as the icon of an era. They will appeal the young customer 20 to 30 in order to get the large marketing share and improve our brand image."
