G-DRAGON has topped American Billboard’s world albums chart for two weeks in a row, for the first time for a Korean solo artist.
On June 19 (local time), American Billboard announced the ranking of G-DRAGON’s new solo album “KWON JI YONG” in an article titled, “G-Dragon Tops World Albums Chart for 2nd Week to Nearly Double Total U.S. Sales”.

The music video of group BIGBANG’s “FANTASTIC BABY” has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube.
As of June 22 at 8:20PM, the music video of “FANTASTIC BABY” recorded 300,000,090 views on YouTube, to prove BIGBANG’s never-ending popularity.
Today (June 23) at 8AM, YG Entertainment unveiled a celebratory poster that congratulates the 300 million views mark achieved by the video of “FANTASTIC BABY”, on the company’s official blog.

G-DRAGON, the leader of leading K-pop idol group BIGBANG, has taken No.1 on American Billboard’s world albums chart with his new album, for two weeks in a row.
According to Billboard, America’s most prestigious and time-honored music chart, on June 21, G-DRAGON’s self title album “KWON JI YONG” released on June 8 topped the latest world albums chart (as of July 1). G-DRAGON proved his formidable influence in the world’s music scene by taking No.1 on American Billboard’s world albums chart for two weeks in a row.
In the previous week, G-DRAGON took the 192ndplace on Billboard 200 which is American Billboard’s main albums chart, with “KWON JI YONG” album.

US music magazine Billboard published an article about the debate over whether G-DRAGON’s “KWON JI YONG” album should be considered as an album.
Billboard wrote, “the five-track release is currently considered ineligible for South Korea’s domestic Gaon Chart due to its USB flash drive format” and that “the issue has drawn debate from fans and industry executives…”

[NEWS] G-DRAGON to Hold Additional Concerts in Five Asian Countries During His World Tour
G-DRAGON will be holding more concerts during his solo world tour.
On June 17, YG Entertainment announced that G-DRAGON will be holding more “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E” concerts in Asian cities.
The additional cities will be held in Hong Kong, Manila, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and a city in Taiwan. For his solo tour, G-DRAGON will be holding concerts in a total of 24 cities, including 14 Asian cities, eight North American cities, four Oceanian cities, and three Japanese cities. He already held a solo concert in Seoul on June 10.
