[NEWS] BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012 is one of "The Best Concerts of 2012" on THE NEW YORK TIMES
BIGBANG Nov. 8 and 2ne1 Aug. 17 , both at Prudential Center, Newark. This was the year K-pop arrived — not in the form of “Gangnam Style,” which was everywhere and yet completely evanescent — but in these arena shows, which were full of thousands of young, paying fans eager to see the girls of 2ne1 and the boys of BIGBANG, groups with zero American hits between them, but rabid American followings all the same.

G-Dragon
As if our heads weren’t already spinning from trying to keep up with G-Dragon’s ever changing hairstyle, G-Dragon really drove the fans wild with his most recent solo single Crayon.
G-Dragon knows how to get the people talking, but his music always speaks for itself, and his mini album, One of a Kind, was no exception, topping the music charts upon its release.

[NEWS] G-DRAGON IS ONE OF "TOP 5 MALE IDOL GROUPS" ON ENEWSWORLD
BIGBANG
You don’t need us to remind you what a huge year 2012 was for Big Bang, but after ending 2011 on somewhat of a rough patch, we witnessed the members come back to life with fifth mini album Alive before driving the point home even harder that it was here to stay with special edition album "Still Alive".
Chart topping songs and sold out concerts worldwide are a given at this point. But getting the members’ faces plastered on an airplane? That was new.
Simply put, we were all just living in Big Bang’s world in 2012.

[NEWS] BIGBANG'S "BAD BOY" IS ONE OF "THE 40 BEST SONGS OF 2012" ON FUSE TV
The 40 Best Songs of 2012: Fuse Staff Picks
This R&B-heavy single off BIGBANG's fifth EP essentially represents an amped up, more polished version of the veteran group's debut sound. The unique mid-tempo track is richly urban, set against a nostalgic '90s hip hop beat while still remaining soft, elegant, refined.
