[NEWS] BIGBANG MAY RELEASE AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ALBUM IN THE FUTURE ?
Could Big Bang release a new English language album? According to the group’s maknae there definitely is a possibility it is in the cards.
On July 6, during the “North Face: Never Stop Dreaming Talk Concert with Big Bang” in Korea the group met with fans and performed some of their latest hits. Even though T.O.P was noticeably absent, due to his filming schedule for the motion picture “Alumni,” fans need not worry as G-Dragon filled in for the husky, voiced rapper. Though he was still greatly missed.
While the group was speaking frankly to the crowd Seungri let slip that there might be an English language album in the works. According to various fan accounts Seungri was quoted as saying, “There is a possibility that Big Bang will release an album in English.”
Though this is not the first time the young vocalist has teased fans. His track record shows that he has often revealed secret information regarding his fellow members. Recently at a fan meet in Japan, he had even joked with group-mate G-Dragon and fans about the leader’s upcoming solo album.
On another note, a lucky Canadian fans were invited to the showcase as they were the winners of Big Bang’s cover contest. There they met the group and hung out with them backstage prior to the show. While there they tested the members English language skills. When asked about their “Alive” world tour visiting Canada, Taeyang confirmed and apologized to the fans that there will not be a Canadian leg of the tour.

[NEWS] Big Bang teams up with Samsung for their ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour’
Having embarked on their world tour, Big Bang has announced an upgrade as they’ve joined hands with Samsung to bring you the ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012’ rather than ‘Alive Tour 2012’.
As leaders of Korea in their own respective fields, their meeting is drawing much interest to see how the two will be able to advance Hallyu with their collaboration.
The ‘Alive Galaxy Tour’ will see Big Bang’s modern music style and Samsung’s Galaxy series of electronics come together by providing a new dimension of experience that incorporates music and smartphone capabilities.
YG Entertainment commented, “We are very glad to be holding the world tour with Samsung Electronics, who has provided the solid foundation for the spread of Hallyu and brought Korea’s name to places all over the world… Big Bang’s world tour, which is a an important indication of the potential progress of Hallyu, has gained strength with Samsung’s sponsorship, and the members have been able to concentrate even more on the concerts to show the best of themselves to fans all over the world.”
Samsung also didn’t hold back their praises for Big Bang as they stated, “We thought this was a good opportunity for us to see the spread of Hallyu and meet with the youth market all over the world with Korea’s representative musician, Big Bang, through the ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012′. [NEWS] BIGBANG : ALIVE AND BANGING
Popular K-pop boy band Big Bang is set to perform its first ever full concert in Malaysia in October!
Organised by Running Into The Sun, the concert – part of the Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 – will be held staged at Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 27. The group is also set to play in Jakarta, Indonesia and in Singapore.
Big Bang released its fifth mini-album Alive earlier this year, and embarked on its first world tour in March, where it will perform in more than 25 cities.

Meanwhile, Big Bang member T.O.P will be very busy this month as the cast lineup for his new film has just been finalised.
Tentatively titled The Classmates, the movie will feature T.O.P as a North Korean spy that illegally crosses the Korean boarder to save his sister. Shooting will begin sometime this month.
T.O.P’s character, Myeong-hoon, is a high-school student whose job is to assassinate apostates living in South Korea. Actress Han Yeri will play one of Myeong-hoon’s classmates named Hye-in, whom he falls in love with.
In addition to the pair, other stars in the action drama includes child actress Kim You-jung, who is set to play Myeong-hoon’s younger sister.
Previously, the rapper said that he was excited to play the role of a North Korean spy who holds the characteristics of a cold-blooded killer and an innocent high school kid.
Meanwhile, Kim, best known for her role in MBC’s The Moon Embracing The Sun, expressed her joy in joining the cast, saying in an official statement, “I’m so happy and nervous about being part of such a great movie and I’ll do my best to do my role.”
Director Park Shin-woo of the Korean film White Night has signed on to helm The Classmates.
