[NEWS] G-DRAGON’s perfect revenge for HaHa’s insult ,"RUNNING MAN"
Idol group Big Bang member G-Dragon took the most perfect revenge against ‘Running Man’ member HaHa who has insulted him.
On the March 11th installment of SBS‘s ‘Running Man’, G-Dragon showed total motivation to capture HaHa in the latter half.
On the show, G-Dragon would not catch HaHa even when he was right in front of him saying “HaHa hyung where are you?” paying HaHa back exactly the way it was done to him last week.
G-Dragon let HaHa go telling him that he will give him three chances and told the members to definitely tell him if they catch HaHa. Out of the seven ‘Running Man’ members, HaHa was the last one standing and went around avoiding Big Bang but eventually was caught by Taeyang and finally G-Dradon took his name tag off.
After taking off HaHa’s name tag, G-Dragon fully expressed his happiness at having taken revenge for the loss in the first half. The score was tied at 1-1 and in the end, Big Bang won thanks to the fighting spirit of Taeyang.

[NEWS] YG - Why They Avoid Various TV Appearances
YG Entertainment was in the spotlight for being selective against certain TV shows or channels. It was revealed that YG artists were focusing on appearances on SBS channel only.
Regarding the criticism YG Entertainment has received, Yang Hyun Suk stated, "If stars schedule appearances as much as they are requested, they might be scheduled for way too many appearances. Not only do the stars get exhausted but their back dancers, stylist, manager and all the staff become exhausted. And it's not like they can appear on each event looking the same way. They have to look unique and different for each appearance. Sometimes when stars appear on too many shows, they begin to look the same in each appearance, which is a problem."
And "Instead of scheduling as many events possible, we decided to choose and focus on the shows that the artist will be appearing in. We're trying to schedule about two appearances per week for the stars. For the stars to perform in their best condition, they need to maintain their strength but if they get overwhelmed, they won't be able to show perfect performances. Even if I get criticized, it just has to be done this way for the artists."
Even though Yang Hyun Suk is being criticized for being selective against certain shows, he explains that it is for the best. He will not overwhelm and exhaust the stars by over scheduling them. Instead, Yang Hyun Suk wants his stars to perform at their 100% to show their fans a perfect performance.
YG's style of management is completely different from that of a newly debuted star. Most stars try to make most appearances as possible regardless of how their conditions are. Although Yang Hyun Suk is receiving criticism for his style, he is also receiving respect for wanting to show the artists' 100% instead of tiring them out.
He also stated, "YG stars usually don't attend award shows. If the stars attend all the award shows just to receive an award, they would have to attend an award show every day at the end of the year to attend or perform at the award shows. It's one of the things we differentiate against for the sake of the artists."

Big Bang talks about the inspiration behind their hairstyles
Big Bang‘s appearance on the March 11th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘ was nothing short of spectacular, ranging from their epic performances to Taeyang’s sudden hug for IU. The interview segment in particular was hilarious, as each member discussed their inspiration for the wild hairstyles.
G-Dragon, whose unbalanced hairstyle was at the center of much attention, replied that he drew his inspiration from seaweed. Dancing king Taeyang answered that he got his inspiration from a radish.
T.O.P commented that his electric blue hair was inspired by ice cream, while Daesung said that his platinum blond hair was inspired by a white horse. Seungri wrapped up the inspiration parade by saying that he got the inspiration for his short hairstyle from a chestnut.
Netizens and fans wrote various comments such as “G-Dragon’s hair is like seaweed dipped in gochujang” and, “I wonder how many other singers can sport such hairstyles“.
In related news, Big Bang showcased a killer stage by performing three songs from their new mini-album, “Blue“, “Bad Boy” and, “Fantastic Baby“.

[NEWS] BIGBANG'S BAD BOY RANKS #2 FOR "THE 5 VIDEOS OF THE WEEK" ON STEREOGUM
2. BigBang – “Bad Boy”
The Korean pop assembly line is a truly wondrous thing. The country is cranking out absurdist, high-gloss, stick-in-your-brain music videos at a ridiculous rate these days, and I am entirely capable of losing entire hours just by clicking from one YouTube link to the next. From what I can tell, the biggest boy band in the country is BigBang, whose new video, a take on American ’90s-R&B ruffneck love songs, was inexplicably filmed outside a Williamsburg JMZ stop. The choreography is no-shit delightful, the clothes are wonderfully goofy, and the song is dangerously catchy. Pay special attention to group member T.O.P., who manages to comport himself with sleepy-eyed bad-motherfucker panache while wearing a military waistcoat, a gigantic bejeweled-skull medallion, and turquoise Gumby hair.
