[NEWS] Tickets to G-DRAGON’s Solo Concert Are Open for Sale from Today
The first round of ticket sales for G-DRAGON’s “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E” concert started on April 13, and fierce competition is expected.
G-DRAGON is to hold a solo concert titled “G-DRAGON 2017 CONCERT: ACT III, M.O.T.T.” at the Sangam World Cup Stadium on June 10 and meet fans from in and out of Korea. This is G-DRAGON’s third solo concert following “Shine a light” in 2009 and “One of a Kind” in 2013. Therefore, fierce competition is expected for the first round of ticket sales.

Trends come and go pretty quickly in music, particularly in the K-pop industry, but the staying power of some hits can’t be denied. On March 7, 2012, Korean boy bandBIGBANG released the music video for their single “Fantastic Baby,” and fans around the world have been saying “Wow, fantastic baby” ever since.
While they were already dominating the local popular music scene, the South Korean act produced one of the few K-pop songs to garner attention internationally with “Fantastic Baby,” in part thanks to the song's dynamic sound and the stimulating visual feast that is the music video. The boisterous, genre-blending sound was something altogether new for the act at the time, while the seditious music video promoted music as a form of rebellion.

[NEWS] BIGBANG received five prizes in Japan Golden Disc Awards, including “Best Asian Artist Award”
On February 27, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced the awardees of the 31st Japan Golden Disc Awards, one of the most prestigious and time-honored pop music awards in Japan, on its official website. The awardees were selected based on the achievements of artists in the year of 2016. K-pop idol group BIGBANG received total five awards in the 31st Japan Golden Disc Awards, including the best Asian artist awards and the album of the year award.
BIGBANG received the best Asian artist award which is given to the best singer (or team) of the year in Asia. In addition, BIGBANG’s “MADE SERIES” received the album of the year award in the Asian segment, as well as best 3 albums award in the Asian segment.

[NEWS] BIGBANG’s “MADE” album topped Japanese Oricon’s weekly chart
BIGBANG’s “MADE” album has topped Japanese Oricon’s weekly chart.
“MADE” album released in Japan on the 15 this month already took No.1 on Oricon’s daily CD album ranking chart upon entering, and now it has topped Oricon’s weekly CD album ranking chart.
“MADE” album proved BIGBANG’s enormous popularity in Japan once again, by recording more than 100,000 sales of the record. With “MADE” album, BIGBANG has set the third consecutive record of 100,000 sales of their album in the first week of release, following the same record set by “THE BEST OF BIGBANG 2006-2014” released in 2014 and “MADE SERIES” released in 2015.
