[NEWS] G-Dragon Reviews Dog Food on Gmarket

Most K-Pop fans know of G-Dragon’s love for his little puppy, Gaho, but no one expected him to leave a review for Gaho’s dog food.

On July 18, G-Dragon left a review on a brand of dog food that he bought from the online store Gmarket.

He wrote, “Hello, this is Jiyong!! ^^ This is the present I bought for Gaho on Gmarket! Because it’s something Gaho eats, I paid close attention and chose this organic lamb meat food~~~ ^^ I hope he eats this and becomes stronger during this hot summer!! Gaho~~ Eat it well~~!! Nom nom nom. Hehe. Thank you.”

He then attached a picture of him from the back, holding the gigantic bag of dog food. Although his face isn’t shown, fans figured out that it really is G-Dragon because of his tattoo and pink hair. 

Gmarket users commented, “That is quite a review,” “If the bag of dog food brings out those accents in his arms, it must be one heck of a product,” and “I feel led to buy this brand now.”

[NEWS] BIGBANG'S 5th MINI ALBUM "ALIVE" is the Best Selling Album of 2012 on Gaon Chart

With 2012 already more than half over, Gaon Chart has revealed its list of the best-selling K-Pop albums in Korea so far.

According to the chart ranking, Big Bang’s Alive was the top-selling album of 2012 so far, having sold some 266,911 copies with a significant gap between the album behind it, SHINee’s Sherlock, which sold 168,161 copies.

Taetiseo’s Twinkle sold 140,826 copies, placing it at third and the lone girl group in the top 10, while CN Blue’s Ear Fun was fourth with 126,220 copies sold and Kim Junsu’s Tarantallegra fifth with 121,735 copies sold.

[NEWS] Big Bang Nominated for Best Album Jacket in Japan

After winning praise and awards for its style, music and more, Big Bang is now receiving recognition for its album jacket.

On July 18, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) released its list of nominees for its Music Jacket Gallery 2012, which recognizes the best album jacket designs of albums released in Japan.

In its list, Big Bang’s limited edition version of its Japanese best album The Best of Big Bang, which was released in November of last year, was nominated in the limited edition category with 14 other nominees

The limited edition The Best of Big Bang album jacket features an array of individual pictures of the Big Bang members to form a collage that highlights the group’s name Big Bang

The Music Jacket Award takes into consideration albums that were released in Japan between April of the previous year through March of the current year.

After tallying the votes of the public on the nominees, the RIAJ will announces the winners in October.
