Big Bang leader G-Dragon landed a phenomenal hit in 2009 with his best-selling debut solo album Heartbreaker. He followed with the Shine A Light solo concert tour at Seoul's Olympic Park on December 5 and 6. The edgy idol put on an amazing performance that courted fervent cheers as well as headline-splashing controversy because of the implied sexuality and violence in parts of the show. To cater to audiences of different ages, the Shine A Light concert is being released on DVD in two versions. This edition comes with the Uncut Version of the concert which has been rated 15+ in Korea.
G-Dragon performed all the songs from his album including hits Heartbreaker, Breathe, and Butterfly, as well as his previous solo number This love. Bandmate Tae Yang showed up for Korean Dream and "Look At Me Only", and other YG artists like Teddy, CL, and Kush also made guest appearances. The second disc of the 2-DVD release includes concert making and other special features.
This release includes a 176-page photobook with red and blue PVC decoder sheets that reveal hidden text when placed over certain pages.

[NEWS] BIGBANG RELEASES INITIAL TOUR DATE AND CITIES FOR ALIVE TOUR
Big Bang will be taking their ‘Alive Tour 2012‘ to Asia, North America, South America, and Europe to perform in a total of 25 cities and 16 countries.
An updated list with the initial dates for the tour was just posted on Big Bang’s official Facebook. What should be noted is that stops in Malaysia and the Philippines have been confirmed.
As reported earlier, the tour is presented by leading international live entertainment company, Live Nation Entertainment, and features an impressive production team and crew including renowned director Laurieann Gibson, stage and lighting designer Leroy Bennet, sound engineer Ken Van Druten, and visual content producer Possible Productions.

[NEWS] Yang Hyun Suk keeps a professional distance from BIGBANG & 2NE1
YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk revealed the reasons behind refusing to drink with his disciples Big Bang.
Yang Hyun Suk recently guest-featured on the May 14th episode of SBS‘s ‘Healing Camp‘ and explained the statements made by previous guest J.Y. Park.
Ahead of YG’s appearance, J.Y. Park had claimed that Yang Hyun Suk was extremely strict with his label artists, and that he keeps his distance from them. “I thought he would display that side of himself on ‘K-Pop Star‘, but he was concerned over how nervous the contestants were,” explaining that he was frustrated over YG’s image on ‘K-Pop Star’.
“J.Y. Park is right, I am an intimidating personality within YG Entertainment,” Yang Hyun Suk admitted. “Big Bang and 2NE1 are professionals, so there would be some advantages for me to be a father figure to them. However, if that becomes the case, the managers will not be able to regulate. There needs to be at least one very intimidating person.”
“To be honest, I want to drink with Big Bang and go on trips with them,” he continued. “But we don’t. I’ve only drank with Big Bang once or twice in 7 years.”
