[NEWS] BIGBANG MAKES ITS DEBUT ON BILLBOARD SOCIAL 50 AT NO.24
Meanwhile, K-Pop sensation BIGBANG makes its debut on the Billboard Social 50 at No. 24. The group gained over 800,000 video views on YouTube last week (a 61% increase compared to the previous week) after releasing a series of live performance videos from their tour. BIGBANG's "Alive" was released Feb. 29 and debuted on the Heatseekers Albums chart at No. 4. The group's "Alive Tour 2012" kicked off in early March in Seoul Olympic Park Stadium and is set to take the band to 16 countries and 25 cities around the globe. BIGBANG is the first K-Pop act to appear on the Social 50 since The Wonder Girls appeared back in Nov. 2011.

[NEWS] Caricatures of Big Bang from ‘You & I’ captures the attention of fans
Caricatures that look like the members of idol group Big Bang have captured the attention of their fans.
A post titled “You and I Caricature” appeared on the official homepage for SBS music program, ‘You and I’. The message contained adorable caricatures of each Big Bang member with details like T.O.P’s hair color and G-Dragon‘s eclectic fashion sense.
The characters received praise from Big Bang fans who commented, “Synchronization 100%,” and “They’re so similar!”

[NEWS] BIGBANG "THE LEADERS OF HALLYU"
Group Big Bang‘s press conference in Taiwan has made the headlines of several Taiwanese newspapers.
Big Bang (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri, T.O.P) have made brief appearances on the 9th and the 10th through press conferences instead of a concert, but even so several daily newspapers in Taiwan have featured Big Bang in their headline news. Taiwan’s Freedom Newspaper reported on the 11th, “Big Bang, the leaders of hallyu have visited Taiwan”, and they reported thoroughly on the daily activities of Big Bang during their stay in Taiwan.
G-Dragon mentioned he wanted to work with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai and that has also garnered lots of attention. A Taiwanese newspaper reported that there was a potential that G-Dragon might work with a Taiwanese singer.
Finally, the newspapers closely reported on Big Bang’s Japanese tour being held in May. Big Bang’s ’2012 Big Bang Alive Tour’ will be coordinated by world’s largest concert management company, ‘Live Nation’, touring 16 countries and holding 25 concerts in all. Taiwan is hopeful that it will be one of the countries Big Bang will tour in.
Next stop for Big Bang is Japan and 5 cities await their performance.

[NEWS] Big Bang’s G-Dragon would like to collaborate with Taiwanese artist Jolin Tsai
Big Bang‘s leader G-Dragon has sent a ‘love call’ to Mandopop singer Jolin Tsai.
Big Bang was recently in Taiwan on April 9th and 10th, earning the explosive interest of the Taiwanese media.
At a press conference with the Taiwanese media, G-Dragon remarked, “I think working with Jolin Tsai would reap good results.”
The Taiwanese media showed extreme interest in his comment, responding, “There is potential for Big Bang to collaborate with Taiwanese artists,” expressing their anticipation.
Jolin Tsai is a top Mandopop singer that’s labeled as the ‘Lee Hyori of Taiwan’, recording over a million sales of her album. She made her name known in Korea after being selected as an advertisement model with singer Rain in 2006.
