[NEWS] BIGBANG Nominated to be on the 2016 TIME 100

BIGBANG and CL of 2NE1 both became nominees for the 2016 TIME 100.

On March 23 (local time), the United States news magazine Time announced the nominees of the TIME 100—its annual list of the most influential people in the world.

BIGBANG and CL were among the nominees. In particular, CL has been nominated to be on the list for two consecutive years.

G-DRAGON put his name in the third place on the list of the most influential stars selected by China’s famous search engine.

On the 22 this month, Chinese media outlet Sina Entertainment released the list of most influential stars in the country for the 23rd week of the year.

In the list for the 23rd week of the year 2016, G-DRAGON beat Chinese stars including Li Yi Feng, Yang Mi, and LUHAN, to take the third place. G-DRAGON is the first foreign entertainer who entered top 10 in the list.

G-DRAGON and M.I.A joined hands for the album of world-renowned producer Baauer.

On March 18(local time), Billboard reported that G-DRAGON and M.I.A featured on “Temple”, a song in Baauer’s new album titled “Aa”. Bauer took the world by storm three years ago with “Halem Shake”. The album “Aa” was released on March 18 along with the music video of “Temple”. G-DRAGON showed a unique rap in a mix of Korean and English.
