[EXCLUSIVE] BIGBANG releases two songs in July, too… BIGBANG VS BIGBANG again

BIGBANG releases two songs at the same time on July 1. It is a strategy to further raise their guard against rush of girl groups’ comeback in this summer, and an expression of their will to keep the promise to release new songs every month from May to August this year. According to music industry insiders, the two new songs will be quite contrasting to each other, as one is an exciting summer song and the other is a song with a sentimental mood.

According to music insiders on the 26, BIGBANG has concluded to release two new songs of the “MADE” album on the 1 of next month, and been busy to prepare for the new release. One of the two songs is a quick-tempoed dance song and the other is a song with a slow tempo, which has the saddest-ever mood among all BIGBANG songs. The two songs with different feels are known to be well-expressing the team’s different appeals.

It is also known that BIGBANG had difficulties in defining the timing of the new release, because of their tight schedule for performance for new songs, world tour, and individual activities. However, as they promised to release new songs on the 1 of every month from May to August, the decision was made to unveil new songs on July 1 as planned.

BIGBANG is carrying out “MADE” project, releasing new songs on the 1 of every month from May. “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” released in May, as well as “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” released in June took the No.1 and No.2 places on major music charts upon their release, to sweep the music scene. Plus, the music videos of the four songs have also proven BIGBANG’s power by surpassing 100 million views on video-streaming website YouTube all together.

Notably, BIGBANG’s influence was great not only on music charts, but also in TV music shows. “LOSER” dominated all TV music shows and achieved ten crowns, and “BANG BANG BANG” followed the footsteps to set a record of getting the most trophies, by taking the No.1 in cable channel Mnet’s “M-Countdown” aired on the 25.

While “BANG BANG BANG” is staying in top places on music charts despite attacks from new songs flooding out everyday, music fans are paying keen attention to whether the two contrasting songs to be released next month will trigger “BIGBANG vs. BIGBANG” competition once again.
