[NEWS] G-DRAGON DONATES 81.80M WON TO ESTABLISHMENT OF LOU GEHRIG’S NURSING HOME ON HIS BIRTHDAY


BIGBANG’s leader G-DRAGON once again made a meaningful donation in celebration of his birthday.

On August 18, G-DRAGON turned 26.

To celebrate his birthday, he donated 81.80 million won (his birthdate 8.18) to Seungil Hope Foundation to help build a nursing home for patients suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease.

YG Entertainment said, “GD made a heart-felt donation to Seungil Hope Foundation in celebration of his birthday.”

Former basketball coach Park Seungil, who is a Lou Gehrig’s disease patient, is the founder of the Foundation. GD has been doing many philanthropic acts with the former coach for the Foundation. With GD, other artists from YG are donating to the Foundation on regular basis.

GD donated 50 million won to Seoul National University’s Children’s Hospital in 2011 in celebration of his birthday. He has been carrying out philanthropy on his birthday every year.
